About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to manage billing processes for US based clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance verification, and revenue cycle management (RCM).

The role requires handling insurance claims, reviewing billing information, ensuring compliance with medical coding standards, and maintaining efficient communication with clients.


Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end medical billing operations for assigned accounts.
Submit clean claims to insurance companies.
Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks.
Review patient records and billing data for accuracy before claim submission.
Handle claim denials and rejections and perform timely resubmissions.
Perform accounts receivable (AR) follow-ups with insurance companies.
Verify and pull insurance benefits and coverage details.
Ensure correct use of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
Maintain accurate documentation for billing records and patient accounts.
Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with US healthcare billing standards and regulations.


Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Management or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle Management.
Strong knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-10 codes, and HCPCS coding systems.
Experience with insurance verification and benefit analysis.
Hands-on experience with claim submission, denial management, and AR follow-ups.
Familiarity with medical billing software and clearinghouses.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced client-focused environment.


Preferred Skills
Experience working with US healthcare providers or clinics.
Knowledge of payment posting and charge entry processes.
Understanding of EOB (Explanation of Benefits) and ERA processing.
Experience handling patient billing inquiries.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards.

Job Status and Schedule:
  • Full-time position located onsite in Karachi.
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
