Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Pitch Deck Designer who can independently produce high-quality, investor-ready pitch decks and executive presentations with speed, precision, and strong business judgment.
This is a hands-on production role. You will work closely with Project Managers and leadership to convert raw content, outlines, or ideas into clear, compelling, and visually elite decks, often within 1–2 day turnaround windows.

This is a hands-on production role. You will work closely with Project Managers and leadership to convert raw content, outlines, or ideas into clear, compelling, and visually elite decks, often within 1–2 day turnaround windows.
Key Responsibilities
Pitch Deck & Presentation Design
- Design startup pitch decks, investor decks, sales decks, and executive presentations
- Convert rough notes, outlines, and written content into structured visual narratives
- Apply strong hierarchy, flow, and storytelling principles
- Ensure decks are clear, persuasive, and decision-maker ready
Design Execution & Quality Control
- Maintain the Upwork IDs high design and storytelling standards
- Deliver clean layouts, professional typography, and consistent spacing
Balance aesthetics with clarity — avoid over-design - Ensure every deliverable meets internal QC before client delivery
Speed, Revisions & Workflow
- Execute with fast turnaround times (1–2 days)
- Handle multiple concurrent decks efficiently
- Implement feedback quickly and accurately
- Proactively flag unclear content or structural issues
Collaboration & Onsite Execution
- Work onsite with Project Managers for smooth handoffs
- Collaborate with content writers and strategists
- Participate in internal reviews and iterative improvements
Required Software & Technical Skills
Presentation & Design Tools
- Microsoft PowerPoint (advanced)
- Google Slides (advanced)
- Keynote (preferred)
- Adobe Illustrator (icons, diagrams, custom visuals)
- Adobe Photoshop (image refinement, mockups)
- Figma (preferred for layout systems and asset creation)
- Canva (for fast edits and client-requested formats)
- InDesign (optional, for extended presentation or document work)
Data & Visualization
- Ability to visualize:
- Market data
- Financials
- Roadmaps
- Process flows
- Experience creating:
- Charts
- Tables
- Infographics
- Simple financial visuals
Workflow & Productivity
- Familiarity with:
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
- Slack
- ClickUp / Notion / Asana (any project management tool)
- Strong file organization and version control habits
- 1+ year of experience designing pitch decks or professional presentations
- Strong portfolio showcasing investor or executive-facing work
- Excellent sense of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to understand business, startup, and fundraising concepts
- Comfortable working full-time onsite in a fast-paced environment
